There is significant variety in price on reds from Burgundy. The region produces some of the most consistent table wines along with some of the most expensive and collectable in the world.
Burgundian reds completely depend on their environment (terroir) to gain their nuances in flavor. These reds are lighter with medium acid and typically lower tannins.
Mostly hand – picked grapes. Completely or partial de- stemming according to the harvest. Fermentation: 10 – 15 days in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature with regular pumping – over and punching of the cap. Bottling 12 – 18 months after the harvest.
Wine making is done with an automatic harvest with total destemming. Maceration for 10 to 15 days in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks. Bottling 12 to 18 months after harvest.
Tasting Notes:
Color : it has a deep and dark red color with purple nuances and a nice intensity.
Nose - It offers a large range of black and stone fruits aromas as well as spicy hints.
Palate - A well- rounded feel of flavors gushing through the mouth accompanied by strong tannins.
Food Pairing - It will go well with grilled meats, poultry and all kinds of cheese.
