- It is created using Glenrothes vast vintage selection and blending from of the best drams from different years together.
- Still produced to the same high standards as the Glenrothes Vintages, only here they select and vat from casks from different years to create the Select Reserve.
- The Glenrothes Select Reserve is matured in oak casks and develops the vintage Glenrothes flavour.
- This has much to do with the slow distillation in the tall copper stills that deliver a distinctive sweet, clean and fruity spirit.

- IWSC Awards Tasting Note: Complex grainy nose with grassy notes and some floral backing. Creamy across the palate yet still has attractive fresh, crisp grainy bite. Citrus and honey make a contribution. Then a soft move brings out some European oak and snatches of blackcurrant. Well balanced, mellow and soft as it moved into long finish.
